What is in a box?
Our Price List shows the contents of the various boxes available for purchase.
We expect to have our online order form available on our website March 31st.

Mix and Match different boxes and delivery frequencies:
Customers are encouraged to make a selection of various boxes and select different “monthly” or “bimonthly” frequency options on different boxes to tailor their program specific to their needs.
For example a family that really loves chicken and only eats beef and pork once in a while could order the following:
| Quantity | Product Description | Frequency |
| 1 | 6 Whole Chickens | Monthly |
| 1 | 10Lb Beef Sample Box | Bimonthly |
| 1 | 10Lb Pork Sample Box | Bimonthly |
| 4 | Dozen Eggs | Monthly |
Another family that loves pork, likes beef, and doesn’t eat much chicken could order the following:
| Quantity | Product Description | Frequency |
| 1 | 2 Whole Chickens | Bimonthly |
| 1 | 10Lb Beef Sample Box | Monthly |
| 1 | 20Lb Pork Sample Box | Monthly |
| 4 | Dozen Eggs | Monthly |
What are the Risks of being a Member?
Not choosing your specific cuts:
As a meat CSA, we have the difficult task of dividing up an animal that has limited numbers of each cut
into equal and fair portions. When packing CSA Boxes for our members, we have to make decisions on the
fly about who gets what. Not everyone will receive the same cuts. While members can not choose their
specific cuts, they can be assured that every cut received will be of the highest quality.
Seaonality may affect availability:
Every effort will be made to provide the targeted mix of cuts as listed in our CSA Box Options. However,
there is the risk that due to seasonal supply differences, we run short on one species.
If this happens, we might have to miss a month of deliveries for a particular species of meat.
In this situation, we will simply extend your subscription for that particular species by the
number of months that we are unable to make delivery.
Matching meat “production to demand” is difficult
for a small farm who sells their entire animal to their own customer base.
We don’t utilize the industrial distribution model to facilitate sales.
So we ask for your understanding and recognition that you are receiving the highest quality product
available anywhere.
Prices:
You can expect to save up to 13% by purchasing your meat through a CSA subscription as compared to purchasing individual packages from our Farm Store or Farmers Market.
If you would like to save even more, bulk purchases such as quarters of beef or halves of hogs are still the most economical way to purchase meat with savings up to 30%. If you have the freezer space or a friend to share it with, bulk purchases make a lot of sense.
Host Site Pickup Locations:
- » Each pickup location has a sponsor host. The host is responsible for providing and overseeing the pickup site, including establishing any rules/guidelines for the site.
- » Full of Life Farm is responsible for delivering the frozen member boxes to each site and placing them into the FOLF cold storage tote (large insulated crate) or any other established cold storage area (e.g. freezer, or cold room). After delivery, the host will facilitate the pickup site requirements such as collecting money from members for dry ice if that is needed.
- » Members must pick up within the time frame detailed for each host site pickup location unless otherwise arranged with the site host prior to the scheduled pick up time. Boxes not picked up will be forfeited. A member may not skip a month. It is suggested that if a member will be away on extended vacation that they make arrangements with a friend to pick up their box.
