For custom-processed items, you may need to wait several weeks or a couple months.

How do I get my order?

We offer Free Delivery to your home if you live in selected cities or you can pick up your order at one of our locations.

I just placed my order online. Can I pick it up this weekend?

Yes, unless you’ve requested Custom-Processing.

How long will the frozen meat last in my freezer?

If you keep your freezer temperature at or below zero degrees Fahrenheit, then:

  • Beef – at least 18 months
  • Goat – at least 18 months
  • Lamb – at least 18 months
  • Chicken – at least 12 months
  • Turkey – at least 12 months
  • Pork – at least 10 months

Why is your meat so expensive?

There are several reasons why our meat is more expensive than store-bought meat.

  1. Our animals grow slower as a result of not feeding inappropriate feeds or hormones. So labor costs are higher because we’re taking care of them longer.
  2. We feed certified organic, non-GMO, corn-free, soy-free feed to our poultry and hogs. $900/ton vs $350/ton for the GMO Feed that the large producers use. So more than twice the cost for feed.
  3. Keeping our animals on fresh grass means we need a lot more pasture space than the big producers that raise them in confinement buildings. For example, we allocate 1000 square feet of pasture per turkey or only 43 turkeys per acre. Industrial turkey farms pack their turkeys in to buildings or dirt lots at the rate of 500 turkeys per acre. So our cost to rent land is 12 times higher.
  4. All of the costs of our meat are reflected in the purchase price. Industrial meat producers are able to shift some of their costs onto society so that their customers don’t have to pay all of the costs. Costs that industrial producers shift onto society include:
    1. Commercial feed (corn and soy) that is mostly paid for by the American taxpayer through agriculture subsidies.
    2. Health care costs that result from eating meat that doesn’t contain the nutrients our bodies need.
    3. Pollution from concentrating so many animals in one small location (i.e. waste runoff into streams, etc.).
    4. Air pollution from shipping the feed, then the animals, and finally the finished product so far.

How do I pay?

Website (deposits on orders):  Visa, Mastercard, or Pay Pal

All other transactions:  Cash or Check only.

How is the meat wrapped?

Packages are double-wrapped: one layer of plastic and one layer of butcher paper. Each package is clearly labeled as to cut.

Do you sell live animals?

We sell newly hatched (i.e. day-old) Heritage Bourbon Red Turkey Poults and Buckeye Chicks.
